Generalised Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is a very common and impairing condition and today – despite several guidelines or consensus statements issued over the past few years – its management still remains a huge problem.
Social anxiety disorder (formerly known as "social phobia") is a much more common problem than past estimates have led us to believe. Millions of people all over the world suffer from this devastating and traumatic condition every day, either from a specific social anxiety or from a more generalised social anxiety.
This week we sat down with The Green Chef (also known as Indulgently Green UK), our newest writer and edibles creator, to discuss cooking with cannabis.
In the future, The Green Chef will be posting some of his great recipes up on ISMOKE Magazine for our readers, and we wanted to kick things off with an interview to introduce him to you all:
I’m always on the look out for interesting things to film for Let Me Look TV. So when I stumbled across an event called “Responding to drug harms: Can the UK learn from Portugal?” I thought it might be worth checking out.
For pro-reform advocates like myself, Portugal is often cited as a shining example of how drugs reform works - it is the way forward. Personally, I still think they still need to fully legalise cannabis and regulate it in some way, but that’s a different discussion.
The thing that made me roll my eyes initially was way the title ‘Responding to drug harms’ seemed fairly suggestive, so my expectations weren’t that high at first glance. But after checking out the panellists, I saw it was going to be an interesting event for sure.
Do You know about Barcelona Cannabis Clubs and how they operate?
Perception of cannabis worldwide is currently undergoing a massive shift. There are just too many good stories from across the globe to ignore and it is becoming increasingly difficult for media sources to try and push the old cannabis propaganda. Over the past week, we have seen (comparatively) positive cannabis features on both The Daily Mail and The Mirror asking whether legalisation may be the sensible way forward, and this shows just how much the media over here in the UK is beginning to shift.
As we continue our fight to legalise cannabis both for medicinal and recreational purposes in the UK, other countries are steaming ahead with the green industry. One country that has had a legal cannabis scene for a few years now is Spain, where cannabis social clubs are legally allowed to operate on a private member’s club basis.
