Coffee with Cannabis
Coffee with Cannabis?

A few words about each ingredient (cannabis and coffee)

Cannabis and coffee sound like the perfect combination, but why bother with it?  What’s magical about this combination?

First let’s take coffee.  Many of us are marijuana connoisseurs and also coffee connoisseurs.  We buy a respectable brand and like Quentin Tarantino’s character in Pulp Fiction, we want to ‘taste’ our coffee.  Caffeine can make for a great morning where you get superpowered with productivity and motivation.  Our caffeine trip may take us through the entire day. Now let’s look at our other secret weapon: marijuana.
Organic Livity Patisserie presents: No Whey! Wine & Cheese event

Last night I attended a plant-based food event which took place in the heart of London.

The No Whey! Wine & Cheese was a vegan event organised by Organic Livity, makers of fine patisseries. Bringing together some of the finest plant-based artisans in London, this event took place at Club 33, which was a great space to host events like this. (You can read about the European Flame Off which took place in Club 33 last month here.)
Keep Em Sweet Edibles Review

The Keep Em Sweet Hard Candy sweets contain approx 8mg in each sweet, and they last quite a while, making them a good daytime treat.

Increasingly at ISMOKE we are eating sweets for breakfast as we film these reviews for our youtube channel. It's all part of the job... The ISMOKE edibles review series features a range of edibles and discusses their dosage, taste and effects. As always please remember that we cannot hook you up or provide contact information. Videos are for educational and entertainment purposes only! Watch the review video below:
Fat Dank Sours 250mg Edibles ISMOKE Review

We love edibles at ISMOKE, and it is great to see the UK scene taking off with some great branded edible products. In today's video, we take a look at the Fat Dank Sours 250mg sour chews.

These sour chews come in a variety of flavours (we tried two in the video) and each sweet contains 50mg of THC from decarboxylated shatter. We have seen Fat Dank Sours popping up at several cannabis events, most notably the London Smoking Club weekly sessions, where they came 1st place in their recent edibles cup. It was great to try the Fat Dank Sours and review them for you. We'll be back soon with more!
Cannabis infused coconut oil
How to Make Cannabis Coconut Oil Part 1
I fell in love with cannabis infused coconut oil when a friend came round with about 100g of mulch weed, basically a big bag of medium grade bud dust and stalk. He’d been playing around with cannabis infused coconut oil but hadn’t quite hit the strength/dosage on the head yet. I suggested we make it using the same simple process as making Cannabis-infused butter. Throw all the mulch in a pot with water and coconut oil and simmer it for an hour. In my past experience using mulch in butter I’d found that roughly 1g of material is good for one person’s dose, using that information we agreed to put 130g of coconut oil in the pot, taking into consideration that some of the coconut oil would probably get lost in the process, as there was a lot of plant material there that would trap some of it, ultimately we hoped to end up with roughly 100g yield. (I have since refined my process so as my final yield is actually higher than the amount of coconut oil I put into the pot, accounting for the weight of the cannabinoids the coconut oil has absorbed)
