Cookies Zauce is a strain bred by Black Sheep Botanicals combining Girl Guide Cookies, their own phenotype of Girl Scout Cookies, with Gorilla Zauce (GG 4 X ZkittleZ).
The result is a very powerful body-led strain that delivers silky smooth creamy smoke and the high that follows is very potent.
Appearance
A deliciously complex appearance – the nugs carry lovely shades of green and purple, with matte shades amongst the glistening trichomes.
The sample was presented perfectly and could have come from a dispensary in a legal market.
An impressive thing about this bud, particularly as it looks so good compared to other strains on the market, was that it was grown using living soil and fed only rain water.
Smell
The familiar sweet aroma of the cookies and the clean terp aroma of GG 4 are prevalent, but there isn’t much more than a hint of Zkittlez creeping into this one.
Breaking apart the sample creates a creamy aroma with a hint of pungency.
Taste
The Cookies Zauce tastes great in the bong and through the vaporiser, capturing a lovely terp blend which is earthy, woody, creamy and buttery, and contains plenty of myrcene.
Effects
The power of this strain should not be underestimated! Mere minutes after consumption waves can be felt which wash around the body.
This one feels quite sedative, and so is suited for evening times.
Overall this is a seriously enjoyable smoke, and I find myself going back to this one again and again.
