Disposable Distillate Vape Pens Review – Grape Ape & Maui Wowi

Let us take a look at two new disposable vape pens produced by The Goods CBD which have recently hit the market.
Made using CBD broad spectrum distillate, these pens come in a couple of different flavours and are available to buy on the Hemp Elf Website (they are legal in 2020 due to the absence of THC)
I was impressed when trying out these pens, as for the price point (currently on sale at £15) they certainly deliver more than I expected, both in terms of flavour and cloud production.
With 0.5-0.7ml of 45% CBD distllate in each pen, they are designed to use and throw away, with no charging port on the device. The Goods say you can get 200-300 puffs out of a unit, but this depends on how hard you hit your vapes – a sip will allow for more hits than a deep inhalation, obviously.
The flavour profiles are significantly different – with Grape Ape opting for Grape, Pine and Lavender terpene blend and Maui Wowi opting for Tropical, Pine, Peppery notes. The latter is listed as more of a daytime vape, with Grape Ape preferable for vaping in the evening.
However due to the lack of psychotropic effects of cannabidiol, I would suggest both are suitable for vaping at any time, day or night.
My flavour preference is Grape Ape, as I love the grape and lavender-led terp profile, but I also enjoy the orangey citrus flavoured Maui Wowi which reminds me somewhat of the taste of orange Calpol (a kid’s pain medication here in the UK).
I have found The Goods Disposable Vapes very useful for when I need to optimise my productivity, and often find myself hitting mine when writing or editing videos.
The pens will also be good for people who want to unwrap and start vaping with no required learning curve to use the product as they work right out of the box.
The CBD delivered is broad-spectrum, so has the benefit of minor cannabinoids in addition to Cannabidiol. This is not in my opinion as medicinal as a Full Spectrum product but is what we are seeing increasingly as the laws around THC in CBD products tighten. So with that in mind, Broad Spectrum is in my opinion best suited either for people who already consume THC or those who want to get their CBD without any THC.
Fun fact: I used CBD isolate e-juice to help me quit tobacco back in September 2016. I wonder what the medical potential for terpy CBD distillate offering the same cannabinoids is!
Overall, these pens provide a solid vape product at a great price point for consumers.
