Sour Headstash Strain Summary
The Sour Headstash strain has a THC content ranging from 16% to 20%, and a CBD level of 0.92% to 1.09%, positioning it as a strain that balances potency with wellness. This cannabis variety is renowned for inducing a state of happiness, relaxation, and a burst of creativity, alongside fostering a sociable, talkative, and uplifted mood. Its rich terpene profile, featuring Limonene, Myrcene, and Caryophyllene, infuses Sour Headstash with a complex bouquet of spicy, herbal, and sweet notes, complemented by undertones of diesel, berry, lime, and earthy lemon, making every puff a delightfully aromatic experience.
Its therapeutic applications are broad, offering relief from fatigue, appetite loss, arthritis, depression, and stress, showcasing its versatility as a medicinal strain.
Growing Sour Headstash requires a moderate level of cultivation knowledge, with its flowering period spanning 55 to 62 days. The strain thrives both indoors and outdoors, reaching a height of up to 80 inches and promising yields of 1 to 2 ounces per square foot indoors and 10 to 15 ounces per plant outdoors. Its terpene composition not only contributes to its complex flavor profile but also to its therapeutic effects, making Sour Headstash a sought-after strain for both recreational and medicinal users alike.
Appearance
The nugs of the Sour Headstash didn’t look that great if I’m honest, a bit dark and leafy. I think maybe this one resembles the sour diesel with that old school look a bit, but the sample I had was a little too small buds to tell properly.
Darker in colour, popcorn nugs, striking golden pistils quite visible and some leaf remaining.
Smell
This strain smells delicious, encompassing gassy berry notes and earthy OG-type smells in good measure.
The jar stank as soon as I opened it, releasing a tremendously potent smell into the room that would not be mistaken.
The smell intensified when the flower was ground up, giving this one good marks in the aroma department.
Taste
This was the first review using my Dynavap M Vaporizer, which gave me a great jet fuel flavour that tasted like pure OG.
When I smoked the Sour Headstash strain in my bong it tasted great, with an earthy power that you’d get from OG strains tasted on the exhale. The smoke had some bite, possibly from the pure gas power it was delivering.
Effects
An indica-dominant cannabis strain, Sour Headstash is relaxing and chilled me out within a few minutes of consumption.
This led to a nice body-led feeling, followed by red-eye and eventually the munchies kicked in.
Conclusion
The Sour Headstash strain was a nice smoke – despite losing marks in the appearance, the smell and flavour brought it back. I also enjoyed the body-led high from this strain which is the sort of high I like for when I’m watching Netflix or playing video games.
