Sherb Crasher Cannabis Strain Review & Information

(Series 5 Episode 18) Introducing the Sherb Crasher strain, a cultivar crafted by Seed Junky Genetics through the combination of Sunset Sherbet and Wedding Crasher. This innovative blend traces its lineage back to notable predecessors: Sunset Sherbet (a cross between Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties) and Wedding Crasher (a mix of Wedding Cake and Purple Punch), ensuring a rich genetic background. Sherb Crasher boasts visually striking nugs characterised by a mix of purples, blues, and greens, underpinned by a dense structure and excellent trichome coverage. Its aroma is a complex fusion of earthy, pungent, gassy, and fruity notes, with a hint of floral tones, becoming more pronounced upon breaking the bud. The taste delivers a unique experience, slightly hotter when smoked through a bong, yet offering a pleasant, floral, sweet, and slightly sour flavour when vaped. The effects of Sherb Crasher are potent and immediate, primarily body-focused, providing relaxation followed by a spaced-out sensation. Users may experience brief trippy visuals, making it a distinct choice for those seeking a different type of high. Overall, Sherb Crasher stands out for its unique effects and flavour profile, appealing to those in search of a new cannabis experience.
Taking things back another generation – Sunset Sherbet is Girl Scout Cookies X Pink Panties and Wedding Crasher is Wedding Cake X Purple Punch, meaning I have tried all of the most recent strains which went into Sherb Crasher.
Appearance
The nugs of Sherb Crasher have a deliciously distinctive look, full of colours including purples and blues in addition to the shades of green.
The buds are well developed, with a heavy structure; dense with good trichome coverage.
Aroma
The smell of the Sherb Crasher strain is complex, capturing notes including earthy, pungent and gas, but also fruity with light, floral (rose?) notes.
Breaking open the bud it becomes more pungent and gassy, with pinene and perhaps terpenol present to give it such a nice smell.
Taste
Interestingly the smoke was a little hotter than I expected through the bong, but the gassy power also came through. This strain carries a fizzy sort of experience in the flavour, both when smoked and vaped.
The vapour tasted very pleasant, floral, sweet and hints of berry fruit, yet somehow a sharp sour twang in addition to the sweetness.
Effects
The Sherb Crasher strain is a strong, heavy-hitting, body-led strain, with effects kicking in after just a few minutes. It lands first in the body, acting as a relaxant, before reaching the mind and making me feel quite spaced out.
Waves crashed over me as the high intensified, and I started noticing a trippy blurred visual as I scanned my vision around the room. This feeling lasted only a few minutes, but was enough to show me a different side to this high I hadn’t been expecting.
Conclusion
The Sherb Crasher is an enjoyable smoke with a different high to a lot of what I have experienced. If you like your trippy visuals, this one may be for you, although I doubt this effect will remain significant when smoking the strain on an ongoing basis.
