Cannabis Honey: Beekeeper Trains Bees to Make Honey From Weed

Cannabis Honey
A french beekeeper referring to himself as “Nicholas Traineerbees”, an advocate of cannabis legalisation has managed to do what others have tried and failed, and created the world’s first batch of Cannabis Honey after training his bees to collect the resin from cannabis plants.
This sort of bee control has been 20 years in the making, and Nicholas has developed techniques that he says allow him to train bees to make honey from virtually anything.
He states:
“For some time I had known about the health benefits of bee products such as honey, propolis, pollen, wax and royal jelly and also about the benefits of cannabis,” he says. And so he decided to take notice of the requests he was getting to try making cannabis honey from cannabis plants.
“Everything that passes through the body of a bee is improved,” he contends, since their enzymes make the nectar turn into honey.
“So if the bee took the resin from cannabis it would also be very beneficial.”
“The aim arose for me to get the bees to obtain this resin,” he added. The “cannahoney” has “quite a floral” aroma and a color, Nicholas explains. It “is not smoked, it is ingested and it is good for health,” he adds. Nicolas says “the bees accept any strain.”

We look forward to trying cannabis honey when it becomes available!
