The media reporting in this country is a joke, on so many levels. Millions of sheepish people following the likes of The Sun, The Daily Mail The Mirror and other tabloids claiming to report the news that actually feed you lies upon lies upon lies about drugs and scare stories about cannabis.
Political favouritism is also ripe, and even the BBC consistently take a negative outlook / fail to report on Jeremy Corbyn and what he is actually doing despite him being a voice for real change, whether you support his views or not. David Cameron was also allowed by his ‘peers’ to leave office with pride and dignity, despite having to step down and putting the country into a period of uncertainty then failing to actually hit the ‘go’ button, leaving a poison chalice for his successor.
And the tabloids have so much power. The Sun has predicted every political poll right that it has done since 1971 or something crazy. It knew about Brexit before we knew about Brexit. Does that not worry you?
When we repost articles from these sources we are giving them even more views and publicity, and showing everyone on our friends list their propaganda and lies. Their headlines are click bait designed to lure people in, so when 1000 of your friends see your status, a lot of them will probably click it too. Your mum might read it if she’s anything like mine who manages to keep track of all my facebook activity. And that will help install yet more propaganda into people that lack a proper education when it comes to drugs.
I urge you all to fight this propaganda with a media blackout on the tabloids. If you want to combat one of their articles or headlines, get a screen grab and post the photo, not the link to the article.
The power quite simply is in their readership numbers, which we have pasted for your reference below. This is scary stuff. The top 3 news sources in the country according to popularity all run slanderous anti-cannabis features on a regular basis.
