Gadgets & Glass Session Hosted by LadyBuds of London

One of the awesome things about the cannabis community is just how often a new event springs up – across the country pretty much weekly there are cannabis-themed events taking place – in winter that’s often behind closed doors, but when the weather brightens up plenty takes place out in public as well.
Last weekend saw a private event hosted by LadyBuds of London which welcomed gadget and glass lovers to sit down for a four-course meal and enjoy the vibes in a chilled indoor setting.
About 50 people in total (guesstimate) attended the evening and the hours seemed to flow by. Things kicked off around 3 pm with the meal from 5 pm.
The setting was a function room under a high street restaurant which was well-lit and with good airflow (never got stuffy). Although on the smaller side of events spaces I’ve been to it proved to be a really popular event and filled up to capacity!
On one table were the amazing glass pieces owned by DNA Supplies and Bear Extracts, and on another sat more vaporizers than you can shake a stick at, all available for attendees to play around with.
Then there were tables for patrons along the edges of the room and in two sections separated by the gadgets table. The food was brought out from the back which connected to the restaurant kitchen above.
The food was vegan, with some specials for the gluten-free guests in attendance – course 1 was a veggie kebab, course 2 was a burger and chips, course 3 was lasagne and course 4 was a dessert with multiple cake/banana bread options.
This was one of the first smoke-free community events I attended (with dabs and vaping still allowed by guests) – there were dabs aplenty and I enjoyed some excellent solventless and BHO extracts from Dabura, PaperCut and Bear 710.
Quite a few friends in the community are dabbers more than smokers these days, so a dab-friendly environment without tobacco smoke made for a fun session. I did take some original glue with me but didn’t even end up vaping it as I was too busy dabbing every 10 minutes or so!
Overall it was a fun night at the Gadgets and Glass event and I look forward to the next one!
